It is very upsetting that no one hits me on my beeper any more.
RIP, beloved 70s #Krups75 coffee grinder. Served me well for a year or so (after I found it on eBay) then the bearing started to make a grinding noise (no pun intended). Tried to clean and lubricate it today. It worked really smoothly for a minute afterwards, then it literally just exploded, even ripped out one of the threaded screws inserts. It likely got stuck and the motor windings shorted out violently. Can’t even move the shaft now, probably welded to itself. #Repair #Fail #VintageTech 😫

"For a few years now I’ve been sitting on two DVDs full of Apple promotional videos that someone put together and auctioned on eBay. Happily, most of the content was new to me.
The videos promote various Apple systems, primarily the Macintosh but also the Apple II, Apple III, Lisa and Newton MessagePad. They were put out in the ’80s and early ’90s, but I’m not sure of the intended audience for all of them."
