Wenn die ganze Geschichte wirklich 25 Mrd € gekostet hat, dann waren wir alle mit der bei IFRS angenommen Steuerquote von 3O Prozent, über nicht eingenommene Steuern mit 7,5 Mrd € an diesem Betrug mittelbar beteiligt. Hier soll der Hochpreis Markt bleiben.
@FabianLaasch Das riecht irgendwie nach einem Auto für dich oder? #ID7 hatte ich dir ja gesagt damals, einfach mal testen. So große Unterschiede gibt es da gar nicht mehr bzw in Teilbereichen liegt Tesla schon sehr weit zurück siehe HUD, Glasdach, MatrixLED etc. Das mit den OTA Updates kriegt #VW auch noch in den Griff, das schafft ja mein #Smart1 seit Beginn an auch problemlos
Punkt 2: Die Interaktion von dem Auto mit dem Nutzer wird zusätzlich auch über ein Lichtband vorne, unterhalb der gesamten Frontscheibe geführt.
- Ladestand wird dort in grün gezeigt. Bis zur Hälfte grün leuchtend -> 50% Akku.
- Das Navi schiebt eine blaue Welle von links nach rechts wenn du jetzt abbiegen sollst.
- Notbremsung, komplett rot
- Wenn du das Lenkrad zu lange nicht berührst, dann winkt er hell und danach rot. (Im Video)
Das ist PERFEKTE #UX. 👌
Jetzt mal ehrlich. Warum wird die Software von #VW so belächelt?
Punkt 1: Das AR Head-Up-Display ist überragend gut. Du kannst rein danach fahren und hast immer den Blick auf der Straße.
Im Virtuellen werden dir nicht nur Richtungshinweise gezeigt, die über der Straße schweben und wandern, je näher du kommst. Es wird auch das Auto markiert, dass er vor dir erkannt hat. 👌
Ich hab keine Ahnung, ob es einen anderen Hersteller gibt, der das so umsetzt… #Tesla schon gar nicht.

Was noch? Ich verstehe nicht, wie der Spurwechsel Assistent funktioniert… Mal startet der wenn man blinkt, mal nicht, manchmal vibriert das Lenkrad und dann leuchtet das Auto rot und er bricht mitten drin ab.
Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass er darauf wartet, dass ich einen Schulterblick mache. 😅

Erste Eindrücke:
- Das ist ein großes Auto.
- Der Wendekreis ist mega klein.
- Das AR-Headup-Display fühlt sich sehr modern an.
- User Interface bietet viele Optionen, denkt aber punktuell mit und schützt den Nutzer vor Fehlbedienung.
- Die Tür ist eine richtige Tür. Schwer und fällt satt. Da rappelt nix.
- Die Rückfahrkamera im Dunkeln ist nicht gut.
Morgen geht’s auf 250 km. Bin gespannt auf den Verbrauch auf der Autobahn.

Je voudrais aussi féliciter la personne qui a imaginé ces feux arrières chez #VW, c'est carrément des MATRICES LED donc le feu change de motif quand on freine. Je trouve ça très cool.
Même si personnellement j'aurais utilisé l'horizontale pour signaler l'arrêt, et pas l'inverse. Histoire d'être cohérent avec les panneaux de douane, de sens interdit, et les feux de tramway.

IN PRAISE OF VW PEOPLE…
There is no disputing that VW people appreciate the fine arts, like these illustrations of the timeless T1 Kombi van whose presence was common on city and country roads way back into the 1960s.
The model predates the artist selling its image as she stands there in front of her teal and white T2 Kombi, a model of the late 1960s and 1970s. Kombis were always known for classy paint jobs, especially the two tone jobs like her restored vehicle that well illustrates this indisputable fact.
VWs are sociable creatures, like their owners, and their herding instinct brought them together for one of their famed social gatherings where this photo was taken.
Drivers of today’s mundane vehicles need not despair. VW Kombis such as those in the photo do come on to the market from time to time at prices well in excess of what they cost back in the day. Perhaps it is time to ditch the ordinary and boring and to venture out in a timeless piece of German automotive engineering.
THIS WEEK’S VW…
Surely, I hear you say, this is the most unique vehicle on the road. Yes, I do hear you saying that.
The VW Dune Buggy dispensed with all that was superfluous to travel by motor vehicle, like a roof (admittedly, some did have a retractable roof). Stripped to essentials and designed to make easy work of the sand dunes when getting to a distant beach where the Pacific’s swells rose as walls of glassy green water to expend themselves as confusions of frothy white foam, the vehicle symbolised (and still symbolises) fun and freedom.
This was the preferred vehicle of the automotive minimalist. It was also the vehicle of those who had their life priorities right. While the affluent spent their Saturday mornings polishing their precious and shiny (and rather ordinary) overpriced cars they dare not take off the asphalt, the adventurous loaded their longboards and headed coastwards (okay, this one is loaded with a shortboard but let’s think of that as a concesson to modern times). Clearly, they lived by values of authenticity and adventure. They had taken on board Jack Kerouac’s advice that “in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goddamn mountain” (or, in this case, ride those goddamn waves). I’m sure Jack would have approved the alteration.
We encountered this fine specimen of the esteemed VW genre streetside in St Helens, an East Coast Tasmanian town completely devoid of rideable waves. It was obvious they owners were headed north to the open beaches of the Bay of Fires. Such are the journeys made by the owners of fine vehicles like this one, that site quietly glowing blue in the morning sun.

After a couple months of sitting in the rain with the passenger door unable to close I finally got the #Squareback wedged into the garage!
Now I can take the door off and start prepping it to weld a new hinge on.

Well I wasted all summer, and didn't get my #VW #Squareback running so I have to drag it up into my garage to keep the rain from getting in it this winter.
Trouble is there's nothing to hook a comealong to in my garage. So I bought a D-ring from HarborFreight and rented a hammer drill and masonry bits from the tool lending library tonight.
Hopefully the anchor bolts will hold and I can get it winched up my driveway.

More and more apps are losing their Watch Apps when they are updated. The new #vw App comes without watch app, and the "DB Next Navigator“ by #deutschebahn is lacking it as well. And these are only two examples.
Apple is making it a lot easier to create Watch Apps. Does anyone care to check if these are now React or Flutter Apps, which can't take advantage of the shared technology?
