I have no issues with the PURE concept of communism but so far, whenever it's been put into practice, it has that stigma of always reverting to some kind of dictatorship or extremist oligarchy (dystopia). The debate in the UK about the #statepension is maddening. People talking about having paid into it all their lives is complete nonsense.
The #triplelock state "pension" is unfair, unsustainable, and is *not* a pension.
It is another state benefit paid for by today's taxpayers. It should be renamed and means tested against ones #wealth, so the wealthy pensioners (amongst the wealthiest group in the UK) get less, but those many pensioners who aren't wealthy get what they need.
#Fortunes result from various factors unrelated to talent.
Furthermore, fortunes distort the allocation of talent in society, as exceptionall young individuals that could be contributing to climate change or healthcare instead serve the wealthy elite.
A mass movement for wealth distribution is needed to address this #inequality. Good examples are #ProgressiveTaxation policies and taxing corporate income based on shareholder returns.

I started wondering what kind of people host events for RFK Jr, and looked for information about the event where he proposed his antisemitic conspiracy theory. It was hosted by Doug Dechert, who acted like a complete buffoon at the event and is identified as "a former gossip columnist". (link below)
So I'm thinking "this sounds like another trust fund brat", and it looks like I was right. A little digging suggested that his father was the director of Pfizer Co (though it could be a different Doug Dechert). This is supported by being called a "trust fund pussy" in an email diatribe directed at him by one of his associates (Ian Spiegleman), who apparently was somehow mixed up in Dechert's toxic relationship with an 18-year old girlfriend (Dechert was 45 and her literary agent). The guy seems like a complete scum-bag.
These are the folk that RFK Jr hangs around. It almost makes regular politicians look good in comparison -- their associates may come from the same corrupt social scene, but at least know not to make asses of themselves in public.

The richest 1 percent grabbed nearly two-thirds of all new #wealth worth $42 trillion created since 2020, almost twice as much money as the bottom 99 percent of the world’s population, reveals a new #Oxfam report today. Some argue that inequality is fine because the wealthy will need goods and services and will therefore spend money and employ people.
But this is nonsensical. Sure, the ultra-wealthy may still want restaurants to eat in, but the math will never work out. 10,000 people who each have $100k net worth can all go out to eat, but one billionaire won't order 10,000 dinners.
