The state was officially cleared of extreme or worse drought conditions back in January. The winter returned back in our part of the world. Heavy rains and lightning with thunders continued also all night long.
There's a heavy rain warning for Dunedin from 11pm tonight until 11am tomorrow (Tuesday).
This actually sounds serious as the DCC is warning of potential flooding. Sandbags are available now at the Ice Stadium in St Kilda and Memorial Park Stadium in Mosgiel.

Rope out sequence of a tornado near McLean, Texas on a big hype May chase day in 2017. This was a picturesque tornado that was witnessed by half of the storm chasers in the country, but this rope out sequence remains the most interesting piece of this tornado.
