Because Piwigo has started to annoy me, I’ve decided to write my own photography site. The URL is still the same (https://beakandlens.com) but it’s now running my own site made using Jekyll instead of Piwigo.

Living in a medium sized city it's not often I see interactions between large species. The eagle caught a fish & landed on an ephemeral log out of frame to the left. After eating the fish, the eagle hopped to the juvenile great blue heron's log. It's a favorite fishing spot for the eagles so it may have been trying to intimidate but the heron stood its ground.
