One of my favorite shots. Black wolf, white snow, and long shadows.

The Swainsons Spurfowl is very common in Tarangire National Park, Tanzania. Usually you get photos of them on the ground but I got lucky with this one on a branch.

We came across these Golden Monkeys in Rwanda where they were stealing potatoes from the farmers field. The children of the village were trying to keep the monkeys away.

We usually think of the Hadada Ibis as a rather dull bird. However, when the sun hits their plumage you see they are really quite colorful. Wilderness Jacana camp, Okavango delta, Botswana

Top tip for driving in cold weather: Birds which are puffed up to keep the cold out, are far less aerodynamic than when the temperature is higher - and it takes them longer to get out of the road. Please give them a bit more time/space to escape your car. By the way - the correct term for this phenomenon is piloerection. Here’s a puffed-up Robin.

Eurasian Otter (Lutra Lutra) near Inverness, Scotland. This beauty had been snoozing off a good fishy meal and its fur was bone dry - not often you see a floofy Otter 😊🦦 #OttersOfMastodon #Otter #Inverness #scottishwildlife #wildlifephotograhy

A lovely wild Otter looking right at the camera - I used a big lens to ensure no disturbance. The Otter went back to sleep. Perfect.

Wild Turkeys can be found in many provinces across this vast beautiful country. One such encounter was to be while visiting family members around the lakes of #Muskoka.
Never one to miss an opportunity to capture such a beautiful bird, this shot was my favourite. #Nature #wildlife #WildlifePhotograhy #BirdPhotograhy #ontario
