I wasn’t surprised in the least by #Montreal winning the #GreyCup last night in the #CFL championship game over favoured #Winnipeg. The Alouettes had to battle for every point over the last two months, while #Toronto (big losers last week to Montreal) and the Blue Bombers largely coasted. Article’s a month old, but what an absolutely hellish idea (i.e. the cyclist licensing, not the registry). Cyclists in #Winnipeg have next to nothing as far as infrastructure goes. Stripping cyclists of their anonymity (i.e. lack of identifiable license plate) would make it drastically more dangerous to ride. Drivers already play cop and chase cyclists down to threaten them with violence, we don’t need an additional means that make that easier for them. This seems like a veiled effort to eliminate cycling.
