We're acclimating my #ParkinsonsPlus from #winter to #summer, & it takes a toll on me.

Without going into too much detail, but I'm always open to #AMA, my #autonomic system, the things your body does on its own, is shot.

Season changes means adapting to new stimuli, like heat, allergens, etc.

Reactions to stimuli includes passing out, dangerous blood pressures, heart issues, etc.

We're slowly introducing my body back to the new season, adjusting meds, etc

In the past, I had made some faux buildings on my island. The top is intended to look like the Temple of Time from #TheLegendOfZelda: #OcarinaOfTime. The bottom is meant to look like a 2 story skii chalet.

I think both came out well, but neither really fit the motif of my island these days.

Mississippi's summers are brutal, but the winters are pretty lovely, tbh.

@CatherineRussell2 Same here. Not garden but lawns. No mow #winter. As I no longer mow my lawns this time of year, it saves me ($50 - £27) every two weeks. So now it only costs me $50 per month.

A Bit of Trivia. Australian Slang for our Money -
Prawn for the pink five dollar bill, blue swimmer for the blue 10, lobster for the red 20, and pineapple for the yellow 50. The $100 has a few variants as the colour has changed over time. Our money is polymer plastic.

Generally Australia does not experience wide spread #snow falls during #winter but we do have what’s knows as our #HighCountry in the State of Victoria.

We do have #snowfields, good skiing in general. Most of Victoria's alpine resorts lie to the north-east of Melbourne. Anywhere from say 2 to 4.5 hrs drive from our capital city Melbs.

These are a few of Victoria’s snowfields: #LakeMountain, #MtBawBaw, #MtBuller and #MtStirling, #MtHotham and #FallsCreek.

#newsouthwales has awesome snowfields. The largest ski resort in the #SouthernHemisphere is #Perisher. It has 47 lifts, plenty of runs, five terrain parks and around 100km of cross country trails. In #Thredbo you can ski Australia’s longest runs.

The Australian State of a #Tasmania, the island located to the south of Victoria, experiences flurries and snow falls throughout winter too. It’s closer to the #SouthPole. #Tassie is a gorgeous part of our country. 👏👍

Woke up to 32.1 degrees F (0 C) this morning! While it is forecast to get up to 57 F (14 C) by this afternoon ... it's a good reminder that here in northern #Vermont, just about 45 minutes south of the Canadian border... #Winter can still visit us!
