Thinking about what @pluralistic said about his massive word output, that he he needs to write to manage the anxiety he has for the world. It's the same for me - I have a very fast brain & lots of deep thoughts rattling in my head all the damn time. If I don't externalise them, they won't go away until I put them down into words.
