A small JavaScript tip I like to determine whether an array contains duplicate entries.
It relies on the fact thatindexOf(..)returns the index of the first occurrence. If it returns a different value than the current index, it means the entry exists earlier in the array.

Tech companies must keep shipping cool new things or die. Not because customers require it, but because the best employees do. If your best programmers stop being able to ship new things, they'll leave to work somewhere they can.
Most consistent thing I've seen over my 15 year career:
- the wrong hire/ team member will have compounding negative impact that takes a long time to fix.
- the right hire/ team members will have compounding impact that makes it impossible for any competitor to keep up with.

Startup success relies on quality of storytelling / narrative construction from the founders.
All founders go thru "pitch pain" where they have to actually question "what does my startup do?"

- need for wide consensus on decision
